Then there's the football star, Axel. Known to get any girl he wants. He see Abigail the transfer student and he wanted her. Then he realized she's different and followed her everywhere. Wanting to know more about her. what happen when he starts falling for her? will she finally open up? Of course, she's like a sister to him (cliche cliche cliche) but, alas, he falls for her...but not before she seems to be falling for the boy she's known since she was a child. Love triangles, disastrous proms, insane step brothers, and a high school class system bent on maintaining the status quo and you've got yourself a teenage love story. **This story was written almost six years ago, when cliche romance novels and vampires made the world swoon.

[OLD] [NOT MEANT TO ROMANTICIZE DEPRESSION OR MENTAL ILLNESS. SIMPLY A TROPE.] Tom isn't your average teen. But then again, what makes a teen average? His family is broken, his mental health is slowly declining, and he's faced questioning his sexuality. Often left to sit in his bed on his phone most of the day, his reasons to live were slowly declining. Tom thought it was better this way. It was better to not disturb anyone, to wear the same clothes over and over, and to stay boring. All, of course, until Tom met him. Updates every Friday. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. "Why do bad things happen to good people?"
