Three years after Autumn was born, the war started. It started small, but then came the attacks, the bombs and the soldiers. Her world of magic and light, shown to her by her mother, is thrown into chaos when the enemy attacks the continent. Anyone brave (or stupid) enough to stand in their way was eliminated, and such was the case with Autumn's mother, Willow.
Willow loved the world of magic and would do anything to stop the enemy from destroying it. They want it gone, to replace it with order and logic, where everything can be controlled with the push of a button or flick of a switch. Despite Willow's best efforts, the enemy wiped the world of magic, and of Willow.
Or so they thought.
When traces of magic begin to emerge, the newly developed government begins to panic, and trace the disturbance to a teenage girl. Autumn. The creatures of old are beginning to reemerge, and all because of her. Completely unaware of this, and having lost faith in the magic a few years after the war, Autumn does her best to live like her mother wanted.
With the whole city after her, and the same magic her mother had hidden in her blood, can Autumn begin to trust in magic again, and re-instate the old age, the one with magic and freedom? Or will the governors once again stamp out the magic in the world?
A/N: "Wilted Willows" is a working title only. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
