First bit of Poetry! Written in Septmeber of 2011. I was reading some poetry in Literature class from the second world war, which inspired me to write this. It has personal meanings to me, but otherwise the narritive is based off a sterotypical french soldier from WWI- determined, romantic rugged, missing home. The Poilu.All Rights Reserved
