When two Rangers mysteriously go missing it's up to Halt and Will to find them. However things don't go as planned and soon they find themselves trapped in the clutches of a past enemy, the Genovesans. While imprisoned they learn that the assassins are in league with the Temujai who plan on invading Araluen. Will they be able to escape... or is this the end?

This is my first time publishing any of my writing for others to read so I hope you all enjoy! I will try to update this story at least once a week. Please feel free to comment what you think! Also if you haven't read the Rangers Apprentice series I suggest you do so as it is so good! SPOILER ALERT! This takes place after book eleven but before book twelve.
