What Happened Last Night?!

I wake up to find something cold sliding onto my finger.

I sigh as I look down at the glittering stone on my finger. It was truly a beautiful ring, which made even my simple hand look extravagant. Yet, never had a little piece of jewelry puzzle me so much. What in the world did this mean? And more importantly, by the Angel, what happened last night?
