When Anna turns 18 she decides to "Leave" her town to see how her friends and family would react to her leaving. She puts them to the test to see if they actually care about her. When a girl who looks exactly Anna returns to her school her friends start freaking out. They have no clue Anna changed her name, hair, style, accent, even taste buds just to put them to the test. Anna's friends start getting random letters with things written on them that she knows. While Anna is in her hometown the police are looking everywhere. Anna discovers the truth about what her friends think about her and how her family is affected by her leaving. They also go through her room and find a mysterious diary entry that started this all...
