We were arguable the worst group of friends people had laid their eyes on. We had the Prego one, Suicide Sadie, Dope Boy, The Jock and the Psycho Brainiac. But between the labels we all had one thing on common, we saw past the 'ugly' we only saw the beautiful even if we didn't see it the same way. We were 'The Skwad'.

Caught between Rumors, labels, and high school in general; these teens come face-to-face with reality when they meet at a support group for troubled teens. Helping each other  cope with day to day life they find that when you take out all the labels they were just five teenagers struggling to survive senior year.

Her anxiety comes out in full force, sending her into multiple attacks at any given time, during school, after school, in the middle of the night. She's so anxious, so nervous, so afraid that she's going to be hurt, or worse, killed. Then a foreign exchange student moves in with her best friend, and befriends her. Her life changes, she changes back into her old self. She comes out of her shell, her mind shifting off all the stressful times, and past times, and focuses on this new guy in her life. A guy she desperately wants to keep, but wants to also keep safe. They go through twists and turns, but in the end, doesn't happiness always win?

Journey with me back in time as I rewrite the first Journal I kept from when I was in high school, and see that maybe even with how horrible life is most of the times, there are little things spread throughout that make life worth living. My high school experience was full of drama, tears, laughter, and most of all constant search of love, and approval of the people around me. I can't always get what I want in this world. Life is a beautiful mess. It's not perfect, and filled with a lot of disappointments, and heartbreak. There are moments when it all feels too much, but there's not much we can do other than go with the flow of things.
