Our eyes connected all of the sudden. Not just looking into each other, but actually seeing what was there, as he said, "I want you to get everything that you're looking for, but right now I want you to-" He paused and then continued, "Go home. Don't forget about me."

      The trance he had put me into fell, and I blinked. I opened my eyes to find him gone. I glanced around but no one was there. I sighed, chills running down my spine.

What if Damon hadn't erased Elena's memory of him? What if she remembered that they, had in fact, met first?

Elena is just a normal high school girl. Pretty, popular, and smart. She was on the cheerleading squad, and had a normal family. One night can change everything.

Damon preyed on innocent victims. But one night, he meets Elena, the doppelganger of his first and only love, Katherine. Will he change his ways if he can have her?

*This story is a twist on The Vampire Diaries. It will be similar, but I promise it will eventually go in a different direction. If you have not seen The Vampire Diaries, I will be adding a cast list on the side to help you get familiar with their looks.*
