I stay quite as he leans forward stopping just inches away from my face. His breath tickles against my cheek and I breath in the sweet pepper mint smell. A shiver passes through me as our eyes lock contact and I feel lost in his cat-like green eyes. He finally speaks and I feel my heart skip three beats.
"You smell nice snowflake;"
He moves closer to my ear almost enough for me to feel his lips move against my skin.
"Mmm, like candy apples, my favourite."
That's when realization hits me like a tun of bricks; this guy was playing me like a deck of cards. Little douse he know, I can just as easily play back.
