Beauty. People say it doesn't matter - that it's what's inside that counts. But in today's world, people who don't fit society's image of beauty are termed ugly. The image of beauty today is the cause for so many of the world's problems, both physical and psychological. 

This is a story of a girl named Lana Deluca who experienced such insecurities of beauty. All Lana wanted was to be thin and finally be accepted by her peers. To be like Sierra, her one and only friend and the most popular girl at school. But nobody knew how difficult Lana's life really was until things started going really, really wrong.
