Having lived the majority of her life as an agent for a dangerous facility in her dystopian society, Dagger Woods is not the typical seventeen year old girl. She's as tough as nails, and almost a robot when it comes to her emotions. Unless her family is involved, it's almost impossible for her to feel. Until her brother is captured, that is. When the enemy takes someone close to her heart, Dagger is faced with a decision between family loyalty and trust to the facility she has been under for years. As she makes many tough decisions, she uncovers secrets about her government and family and learns that love can be a major weakness in her line of work.

There are but a variety of emotions that NANCY experiences throughout this journey. A few of those emotions would be love, jealousy, and regret while she discovers the world around her.
