Book One
100 years after the World War 3 broke out. Maria Clara de la Cruz, a writer, was interested about the story of the third world war because of a story of her ancestor. She was told this story when she was young, and she was remembering the love story of her ancestor, who has the same name as her.
Maria Clara de la Cruz met Alfred F. Jones, a cheerful and energetic guy, when the third world war was still rumored to be beginning. She had doubts in her life, but he cured her heart. He, who cured her heart, had brain tumor. He is secretly fighting it until Maria found out. They hope that things would get better, but they were dead wrong. Could this love survive in this horrible mess?
