As she arrived into the airport, Beth received a phone call from her neighbor Ms. Murphy. "Hello?" answered Beth. A panting voice answered the phone. "Their onto you, Beth. You need to arrive into your safe haven as soon as possible." Beth picked up her luggage from the carousel and ran towards the awaiting cab. Soon, the local police and FBI appeared at the door. "Put your hands up in the air. NOW!" Everyone had their knees on the floor and their hands in the air in surrender. Some officials walked towards Beth, putting her in handcuffs. At the precinct, policemen and agents interrogated her until her ears bled. Finally, closer to the end of the interrogation, they asked their final question. "Beth, are the rumors true? Beth replied, " Yes, there are aliens amongst us. And I am one of them."

This could be it. I quickly start to look around the place before the torture starts. Every piece of information I can get stands out to me as my mind connects the pieces. Brianna also seems jumpy as she watches Raphael get up to look at the farthest door where the other passengers came from. Raphael takes a surprised step back as he looks through the small window again. He slowly turns around and his face is pale as he says, "The other part of the subway is gone." "What?!" A tall man says with wide eyes. "No! That's impossible! We just came from there!" The rest of them nervously look around as Ben gets up to look through the window of the conductor's room. Michelle gets up to see what Raphael keeps seeing and Brianna lets out a nervous pant. "There's no conductor." I stand at this and my blood falls to my feet. Frantic looks go around the place and nervous voices fill our ears along with the scrapping sound of the subway. I turn around to look at the other passengers and my eyes catch the red lights from the moving letters on one part of the roof. I gulp and sweat starts down my neck as I read its bright letters. caroline wakes up in a metal cage/ box thing, soaring up an elevator shaft looking thing. she doesn't know where she is or what happened, but she wakes up coughing water, gasping for air. she doesn't even remember her name at first. as the box comes to a stop, the cover opens up and light pours in. she squints her eyes at the harsh brightness before coming to her senses. her fight or flight insticts kick in and she stands up, almost falling over in the process. random people come jumping onto the box, opening it and letting her out. as she sees a certain blonde boy with an accent and a limp, she remembers her name. caroline. I turned around the corner of the building, testing to see if they would follow me, and they did. I headed all the way up to my room. The twins had just walked in, leaving the door open behind them. I walked in, and as I predicted, the two people following me entered after me. Mordecai closed the door before they could even blink. They didn't look the least bit fazed though. The girl is model worthy in all her fitness glory. Her long, black hair was in a single braid down her back, while she wore skinny jeans, a tank top and sneakers. Her eyes were mysterious and I couldn't get a read on her. The guy didn't look all that intimidating, but then again, I could say the same about Nick and I found out that he's Zero, as much as I am yet to believe it. The guy has blonde hair with dark and almost calculating eyes. It was difficult to pinpoint him too. "Who the hell are you and who sent you?" I asked them. "None of your questions are relevant right now. We need your help," the guy said. I was automatically irked by his dismissive manner. I crossed my arms. "And why would I help you?" "Because both you and Elle's lives are in danger if you don't," the girl replied. Elle? As in my fiancée? "Elliephant is alive?" Malachi asked, but there was something to his tone. The guy nodded.
