Lunette is the princess of the Moon Kingdom, the core of the moon, who's getting ready for her coronation and marriage to Sol, one of the princes of the Sun Kingdom. In order to take over her kingdom as queen, Lunette has to collect moonstones that are made from the moon's essence but she isn't the only one looking for them. Whoever holds the power of the moonstones holds the fate of the moon itself. Can Lunette live as a high school student, princess and savior of her home's existence?

As she lay dying, she spoke a prophecy: "This conflict is not over. Though you claim victory today, it will not endure. On the night of the first lunar eclipse, four Aeonaeians will be born, each possessing great and powerful magic. They shall end your tyranny and restore peace and order to this world. They will become the Guardians of Aeonae."
