Alison doesn't have a last name. Well, she does, but she doesn't. Let's just settle with the fact that she didn't like to think about her last name. It's complicated. Her father was a drunk, and her mother was an extremely successful business woman. She lived in a New York City penthouse, trendy clothes, the newest technology, and went to a prestigious school. But that wasn't enough. Alison wanted a name for herself. Not her mother's name. And she would stop at nothing to get it.

I wonder how many people wish to change their past, if they had the chance. Get a new name, stay in a new place, and meet new friends, all to erase the life you once had that you'd rather forget about. The idea sounds good to Liz. Or now, should we call her Allison? Being Liz Cage was just too much, so when she goes on the road with her dad for awhile, she's Allison, starting fresh. But what happens when she decides to return to her past life, being Liz Cage all over again?
