Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. So, sorry in advance. ~Just Perfect EDIT: As of 03/29/14 (arranged in this order: dd/mm/yy), this story has deviated from its original "pure romance," into something worth delving deeper into. I just had an idea and tried to work with it. hopefully, it makes sense. Notes: Story was originally posted (BY ME) on Tumblr (@uglypastels) as a oneshot, but for readability sake I divided it up into smaller chunks and to make it easier to keep track of where one is in the story. I am a Figure skater. I skate 6 hours a day, 30 hours a week and about 2,700 minutes a month. That doesn't include training, off-ice, ballet, drama, and yoga. I have three coaches (the top best), a choreographer, physical trainer, a ballet teacher, a drama teacher, a dietitian, a podiatrist, a chiropractor and a tutor. I know what your thinking. All this for a sport? It's not a sport, it's a lifestyle and a PASSION.
