Hattie Carter gets herself stuck in uncharted territory when she goes to a party with her best friend Aaron McCoy. When the night turns bad she is rescued by a mysterious boy and his sister. She gets home but the night weighs heavily on her. She finds the boy in the oddest places and when he finally lets her in on the details of his life, she is shocked by the outcome.
