Yang and Ruby had someone important in their life, her name was Montserrat. She was great friends with Summer Rose, also with Raven(Before she left),Taiyang, and Qrow (Team STRQ). When Summer died, Montserrat look after girls until Taiyang recovers from Summer's death. She was like a second mother to Yang and Ruby. When Taiyang got over Summer death and started to take care of the girls, Montserrat left and never came back. Now Yang and Ruby are all grown up, they see Montserrat again. But everything soon went down hill when Summer disappeared. The children where heartbroken but Tai, saddened and enraged at Summers disappearance began to take his frustrations out on the children. Y/N would try to make the most of it, and protect Yang and Ruby from Tais' wrath, often times taking a beating and going without food for days. As time went on Tai got increasingly worse, and Y/N became the sole target of abuse. Yang and Ruby would try to help as best they could but it wasn't enough, Y/N could bare it no more. Y/N attempted to contact Qrow and reveal the conditions and fear they lived in, But Tai got him first. Beaten bloodied, Y/N would take a moment to recover and escape with his sisters....
