Kellin Quinn isn't okay. He thinks he is because he likes to justify himself but everyone can see that he's miserable. His mom decides that it's time to take action into her own hands and admits him to a psychiatric hospital. Kellin learns that it's not as it seems. He's forced to do things he doesn't want to but in return he learns to open up to people. One of them being Vic Fuentes, his counselor. Vic needs to understand everything behind this pale boy. Why doesn't he talk? What made him so depressed to the point of taking a blade to his skin? He needs to understand Kellin. One problem. He's taken a certain attraction for the patient.
