A girl from a tribe derived from Native American culture. Everyone in her tribe are skin-walkers, those with the power to change form into beings of nature, but only if they are wearing the animal's pelt. Cocheta is a stranger in her own family, and she is the only one that dares to venture outside their underground haven. She always swims in a lake she discovered when she was younger when she is upset. There, she lays her eyes on her first human, where her live changes forever.
