Emma grew up in the Enchanted Forest and fell in love with Killian. But the Evil Queen got her wish and casted the Dark Curse. All the fairy tale characters were transported to Storybrooke with no memory of there past life's. Emma is in a mental institution because she thinks that everyone one is a fairy tale character. Killian is her nurse, he gives medicine, talks with her, cares for her. But nothing can stop true love, not even a Dark Curse.
