I wrote this story as a joke, but I will warn you that the writing looks more serious. The NOTICE at the beginning explains everything, so I recommend reading it before starting the story. Original Description: Out of YouTube, Tommy is a normal British boy, but one day, one of his best internet friends moves to his area and starts going to the same school as him. Everything's chill at first, but then Tommy starts realizing the small things that his friend does. He notices the small, cute, unimportant details. And all of a sudden, Tommy realizes that he's developed feelings. He doesn't like it one bit, especially since there's one minor difference between the two. Since then, I've conducted minor edits for comprehension and line delivery. I'm curious to hear your thoughts, dear reader... Or should I say, poor reader? This story's metanarrative began when a good friend of mine at the time had shared a document with a number of close friends, under the expectation of them collaborating to construct a creative piece. The founding writing, only a paragraph and written by that friend, was of a single undefined character narrating their spooky and memey adventure. I was either the only other person who cared and/or noticed it- so I wrote, along with occasional pitching in from him. I made it more personal by adding character stand-ins for my friends and acquaintances, named after fruits or vegetables. Furthermore, this was to give friends who are represented through these stand-ins an opportunity to properly operate their character within the narrative. That never happened, except with that friend who started the original document to me, to a small extent. Chaos and Cringe was originally inspired by cringey/edgy horror fanfictions, such as Hitler.exe, My Immortal, and Voice Box. This story is therefore a fanfiction of fanfictions.
