After their parents death Elliot Munro and her brother Tobias were put up For adoption. Being separated by two different sets of new parents, Elliot is left behind with her parents and now brother gone. A year after Tobias's adoption the Espinosas adopted Elliot and things are going better in her life, that is until her brother and best friend Matt leaves for Magcon. After him leaving the Espinosas move to Mooresville North Carolina where Elliot starts fresh with a new name and a clean slate. There she meets the biggest jerk in her grade, Hayes Grier, who might just ruin that new start, that is if he's not her saving grace.
