This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
