Under the Capitol eye, she was perceived as a weakling. An oversensitive, district 7 girl, who simply "had no chance." But she definitely put on an act.

Crying and pretending she didn't know how to fight, brought her to the final eight. The others simply overlooking her, just as she'd planned. Then, all the while, Johanna finally brings out her violent side, taking the tributes off guard.

My Games: Johanna Mason

14 parts Complete Mature

Determined to come home to her brother in District 7, Johanna has devised the ultimate strategy for surviving the 71st Hunger Games. She is cunning, unscrupulous, and lethal with an axe, but like any tribute, is not without her blindspots. Filled with rage against the tyrannical Capitol, Johanna has but one goal: act weak, deceive the other tributes, and when they least expect it, kill them all. I wrote this story in 2014.
