Kelly Cooper is 15, almost 16 years old. She grew up with 3 older brothers, and the boy next door, Kade. She's just been forced to get a job to pay off her credit card dues. Kade is 17. His father is an alcoholic and his parents fight alot. His sister, Alanna, shuts them both out. He however, ran away. He basically grew up in his neighbor's house, the Coopers. Kelly is just one of the guys. She has some girly factors, but they are small and few. When things in Kelly's life begin to complicate, she goes to sit on her front porch. She finds Kade on his. They find themselves spilling their guts to eachother. Kelly is falling for him. Hard. But Kelly was recently asked to go out with Moore. Moore is everything any girl would ever want. What will she do? Who will she choose? Similar to, but not a copy of, On The Fence by Kasie West.
