*Highest Rank #1 in Historical Fiction* Shy and awkward Elizabeth Montgomery doesn't think she'll ever find love. As her family's former plantation struggles in Reconstruction era Virginia, she's afraid she'll find herself either betrothed to the wrong man through an arranged marriage, or a spinster living with her widowed father. However, Elizabeth's sister Amelia is vibrant and charming, and sure to secure a valuable match. When two wealthy, eligible bachelors come to her family's plantation home for a visit, Elizabeth finds that she has to depend on her faith more than ever. Edward Stanton is a cocky bank owner's son, and his father, Charles, is pressuring him to take a wealthy wife to create a banking empire. As Edward resists his father's demands, the stakes become higher and higher, pointing to evidence that Charles has underlying motives for forcing a particular match on Edward. Will an unexpected love emerge from so much greed and manipulation? *Completed May 2015*

"A rollicking adventure!" The trilogy is now complete. I plan to publish Jack: Book 3, by August 1, 2017 as well as a separate volume with all three parts. Until then enjoy Books 1-3 here on Wattpad. I completed the trilogy on May 30, 2017. The cover (left) is a possible cover for Jack 3. Book 3 opens with Jack and his companions in control of the slave ship, The Helena, renamed The Midnight Raider, having tricked the pirates and slave traders that were chasing them after they stole the ship. Jack has ordered the Helena's captain - kidnapped in Cuba - imprisoned below deck. Despite his friend Jeremy's reluctance to go along with him, Jack invites the captain to help them and the 110 now-freed slaves to sail back to Senegal and Guinea in West Africa to return the ex-slaves home. Captain Pendleton agrees. But will this slave trader - whose dream is to buy the Helena to make enormous profits blockade-running when the American Civil War begins - keep his word? Jack believes he can continue to outsmart the captain. He also believes the captain wants to do the 'right thing'. It's a combination of trust and mistrust but Pendleton may be the only person aboard who has the longtime experience crucial to crossing the middle Atlantic Ocean to Africa. Jack and Jeremy have another problem: Two young Jamaican women are aboard ship and are scheming to make sure that they stay together with Jack and Jeremy who plan on leaving them back at their homes after returning from the African mainland.

On December 16, 1773, the colonists were sick of the British rule. So late at night, they went to the Boston Harbor, boarded the 3 ships, and dumped the tea into the water. This event, commonly known as "The Boston Tea Party," led to the fight for independence in America. The colonists who participated in this event were all white americans. But- what if they weren't? A different side of the same story, read about a young slave named Darcaue, who will show readers what it might have been like to be apart of such a historic event- as a black man. *This story is about 10,000 words or 18 pages long*

1789: Thomas Jefferson returns from France and meets Alexander Hamilton for the first time. It's hatred at first sight, but it will eventually change into something none of them would ever have imagined. Set in the 18th century, the two political enemies will have to overcome their own fears and to hide their love, while trying to build their new nation. (Jamilton / past Lams) ***And then it happened. Jefferson looked away from Burr for just a second and fixed his eyes on Alexander's. Alex's heart stopped and he felt his blood running cold into his veins - what should he do? Should he nonchalantly walk out of that damned alley, or run away, or what? He was trying to think fast, but in the end he just stayed there, frozen on his spot by Jefferson's smug stare. For what it seemed to be a lifetime, Thomas's brown eyes held his gaze, tying Alexander's blue, wide eyes to his, reading his very soul like an open book. Then, he winked and turned to Burr again, acting as if nothing had happened. Alex abruptly retreated into the deep shadows of the alley, breathing hard and sweating as if he'd just had an epiphany. Five seconds. Just five insignificant seconds and his world had been turned upside down.*** Cover picture credits to --> hello.im.jade on instagram: https://www.instagram.com/hello.im.jade/
