Jake grew up only knowing one thing, the cursed are a menace and a threat to everyone with it being his job to destroy them. When an unfortunate event caused his world to be flipped upside down, now he is one of them with no family to go or home to go to and no real purpose left in his life. He spent his cursed life alone, but just as he considered ending it he found his purpose. Emily is destined to be his, but she has a lot of growing before she can be his fully. Being a human in love with a cursed is only a recipe for disaster.
