Humans and the Cursed Ones are not the only species in this world that is known. Werewolves and Vampires also add into the chaos. Nanolythe the science company interested in Cursed Ones finds out about Skylar while capturing Alyx. Skylar tries to save Alyx and finds out secrets of her forgotten past. For Skylar it is a fight-for-life kind of world that is out to ruin her life.

But fitting back into that normal life they missed so much is proving to be hard. Especially for Maya, who has a tendency to get herself in trouble and extraordinary situations ENTIRELY her fault. (She'd rather die than admit that of course) Old life brings the problem of boys, unwanted advances, homework, teachers and of course, a boyfriend with she had a rather uncharacteristic meet-up.
