Zuko has been imprisoned and tortured for the past six years by the Fire Lord, his father. Left alone with only thoughts to respond to, hope is a distant memory. But the Resistance has decided to hold Zuko for ransom in an effort to stop the Fire Lord's pursuit for power. What they don't know is that Ozai's son means nothing to him. So what will happen to Zuko in the hands of the enemy. Or are they really the enemy after all?

We all know and love the story of Avatar the last Airbender, but what if things were a little different? What if Prince Zuko was the Avatar? This simple question throws the entire Avatar world for a spin. Let's start with a summary shall we? With the disappearance of the avatar after the death of Avatar Roku, the world watched in horror as 3 more fell after him. The airbenders were all wiped out and so went the air nomad avatar. The southern water tribe had all of its benders taken and killed, along with the avatar of water. The earth kingdom has been sacked for decades by an onslaught of firebenders. On the battlefield, the firelord himself slew the avatar in vicious combat. Now the world has all but lost hope as a new Avatar has yet to be discovered anywhere in the world. Many believe that the cycle has ended, others believe that there was no Avatar. A new one would rise from the unlikeliest place possible, from the throne room of the firelord himself. takes place after the war was won and zuko was crowned firelord. sokka feels as if something is missing within himself so he heads to the fire nation in hopes of wise words from iroh and looks forward to spending time with zuko during his visit. (zukka, there is not full on smut(they just get cock blocked every time), boyxboy content, sokka is a water bender and katara is not) please don't let no smut keep you from reading, i personally am not good at smut or anything so it won't be full on in this story, it has nothing to do with being uncomfortable with it i'm just not good at it.Complete
