Weighing at over 250 pounds, she is always being made fun of and teased about her weight. Mostly by one boy in particular, John Ryder.  John Ryder is, well everything. He would constantly annoy her at lunch and the few classes they have together. Ever since she was little he just seemed to not like her, and her weight didn't help.  What he didn't know about her was that she had cancer, and only 40 days to live..  But Alex Heart isn't going to spend her last few days in the hospital , or sitting on her bed at home.  Nope!
