Hailee Mae Rose is a 21 year old, dying in a hospital room. Her life consists of taking pills, check ups, tests, watching tv, listening to music and doodling - when she can anyways - but she is constantly doing something that everyone learns to expect. Planning her escape. It's a hospital, but to her it's a prison. Her room, it's her cell. The doctors and nurses are the angry guards who always seem to be holding her back from freedom. And all she wants is freedom.
Nathaniel Pierce is a 24 year old, also the CEO to a rising, well-known, company. His favorite thing in the world - as cliché as it is - is to party. He's quite good at it, making him enjoy it all the more.
At a party of sorts, the two collide. To Nathaniel, Hailee is just another girl. To Hailee, Nathaniel is just another person - trapping her in a suffocating place.
However, Hailee isn't just another girl. And Nathaniel isn't just another guard.
