I walked past the show stage and gazed up at the frozen, sleeping animatronics, their heads bowed. I studied the characters, admiring their fun and playful feel, then I turned to the rest of the room, with its trend of red and white checkered walls. I turned back to the stage, and I noticed that Chica was quivering slightly. Suddenly, the robot's arm jerked forward, startling me completely, and I jumped back. I felt a completely gloved hand on my shoulder. I swiveled my head and saw that it was Mr. Afton. The man chuckled.
"They do that sometimes... don't pay attention to it. Let me bring you to your office."
I nodded, my mouth dry, and I took one final glance at the deactivated animatronics before following the figure of Mr. Afton.

The black velvet blanket that is the sky has small diamond like stars that shine and illuminate the darkness below. I look through a few shop windows as I walk past but most of them seem to be shut since it's around 11pm. I see a random Starbucks that seems to be new and I shake my head in disappointment. I don't hate Starbucks but it ruins the town's classic atmosphere. After walking a few more minutes down the road I spot my best friend's coffee shop that her family owns. Luckily it's stays open until 12 so I decide to pop in and have a hot chocolate and chat with her for a bit. The warm air takes the redness away from my cheeks and fingertips as I step inside. I look up to see my best friend Nellie instantly spot me. "Hey, Hannah. It's nice to see you here." She wraps her arms around me for a hug and I gladly hug her back while sneakily stealing her body heat. "It's nice to see you too, Nellie." I reply as we pull away from the hug.
