This story takes place between the last page in Mockingjay and the Epilogue. The Capitol has FINALLY left Katniss and Peeta alone, or have they? The two years her and Peeta have truly been together has made her show her true colors, being soft. After Peeta pops the question, does the Capitol threaten their relationship? Since Katniss and Peeta have been spending almost everyday together, what happens to Gale? What happens to their friendship? Is there another Hunger Games in the future? Does Katniss figure out that family is more important than friends? Than love? Or does she become apart of the Capitol while Peeta is being tortured once again not only by the Capitol, but by himself? Will new relationships blossom? Figure it out in my version of the 4th book in the Hunger Games Series!

Katniss Everdeen is married to Peeta Melllark the love of her life and are back in district twelve. Coin kept the games and Prim is still dead. Mrs. Everdeen lives in katniss's old victor home and is a grandmother to twins. Diana Mellark and Finnick Mellark. Gale lives in district two with his own family. Haymitch is a grandfather because he married Katniss's mom after all they went through. Katniss and Peeta's kids are very different. Diana is like Katniss and has her skills with a bow and arrow and hunting. She has her father's talent with a sword, painting, and baking. Finnick on the other hand is like his aunt Prim and grandmother. He likes to take care of people. The story starts with Diana as a seventeen-year-old on the day of the reaping of the 99th hunger games. The Mellarks have a track record for being in love with their district partner. Will it happen again with one of their kids. Also Katniss, Peeta and Haymitch don't have to be mentors. I don't own the characters of the original hunger games. I give the credit of their characters to Suzanne Collins.
