Stella Rosewood, normal 17 year old...or so she thought. When a mysterious man tells her to be careful she starts to question everything and everyone. One question she really wants answered: Who is this guy telling her all these things? Something unexpected happens a week before she turns seventeen.

I stand up from the ground and I see Harry push Derek to the side. I stare at Harry's eyes and I see the monster inside of him. He takes a step forward and I step back, scared of what he'll do to me, I look over at Derek's body not moving, I know he was the real threat.
"What's wrong?" His deep voice sounding soft, I swallow hard, "What did you do to him?" I shout tears pricking my eyes, "I did what I had to do!" He says moving closer to me
"You didn't have to kill him!" I shout tears rolling down my cheeks, "He would've killed you if I didn't."
He sounds calm like he had done this before, like killing someone is nothing. Killing is something, it's wrong and completely horrible, how can someone live with the blood on their hands?

This is book one of the series. Jordan shifts slightly in my lap so she can see my face. "Liam, I want you to mark me." She bluntly states and exposes her neck to me, so I can mark her. A wave of confusion comes over me and I tilt my head looking at her. "Are you sure that is what you want?" I look at her neck where my mark should be and feel my canines extending. Jordan simply smiles and nods her head. I readjust our bodies, so she is underneath me. I lean down and softly kiss her lips. The kiss burns my lips and not in the normal mate bond way. I pull away and rub my lips trying to get the sensation to go away. Jordan stares at me with her eyes squinted. I look her over and see nothing short of the perfect mate I am used to, however, something isn't right. Jordan pulls me down closer to her and starts leaving little kisses all over my body. Every place her lips touch immediately burns. I push her away and move towards the bottom of the bed. She sits up and moves to come closer to me. I move away again. "Liam, don't you want to mark me? Don't you want this?" Jordan looks at me pouting. This is when I realize what is going on. I smile and move to her. "Of course, I want to my queen," I coo at her and grab her wrists and pin them behind her head. My hands are burning from touching her, but I fight through it. I start leaving kisses all along her neck and pause where my canines are supposed to sink into her neck. Jordan lets out a throaty moan and I can smell her arousal. I kiss up and towards the middle of her throat. My canines extend and I bite into her throat and rip it out. Her eyes fill with pain and she struggles before the life is finally drained out of her.
