Five Olympian gods catch wind of a plot by Ares to kill Zeus and take over the throne of Olympus. They try to stop him, but he catches them first, and casts them down and turns them mortal, scattering colored orbs containing their powers all over the Eurasian continent. Four years pass, and they've adjusted to being mortal, when Castor finds a lead on his own orb, and they all set off to retrieve it, battling monsters and meeting Nick Crane on the way.
