School and home are in constant conflict, and her faith starts to go weary, when the guy she likes begins to take an interest in her. Kai is brainy, sporty and honestly seems to have it all, yet can't get Layla out of his mind. An ominous past, a permanent smile on his face, he hopes to erase the history he has been written to.
