"Us." I smiled, "Mom and dad especially me, we're family."

He laughed, "You really think that's gonna happen?!" He pinned me to a wall and breathed hot air down my neck. "There's no way we'll ever be family..." He let go of me and walked away.

"You want to make a wager?" He turned to me curiously.

Alex's mother left when she was young and never came back. Her and her father was the only one at the house. Even though she smiles, she would break down in the inside wondering what she has done to make her leave. Her father got remarried and gained a new brother. They were a few years apart. Mason was broken because he lost his father due to something unknown to her. The two now live under one roof and will become a family, but for some reason Mason was being against it.
