Chapter 1
28th of september, 1993 on the island of Grand Bahama a beautiful baby girl by the name khaniyah delarose was born to a 16 year old young mother by the name Jackie Delarose. Despite of Jackie's unruly behavior as teen she did not intend on becoming a teen mom at the age of 16. Like most teens her age all she ever cared about was her friends, boys, getting invited to the hottest parties and keeping her mother from intruding in her life.

When Jackie's baby girl was born they became inseparable. She had her in the cutest clothes, her hair was neatly done all the time and any one that saw Khaniyah knew that she was definitely "her mother's child". They both had the same round shaped face, full but slightly slanted eyes and black lips. Over the course of the. next 6 years Jackie tired to do her best as any young mother would. She stayed in school and even got a part time job.
