He shifts his weight in disappointment, his eyes landing on the boy across the room. Their eyes met as if they had the same idea and Harry smiles awkwardly, shrugging his shoulders before snatching his work from his desk, striding over to the table. The chair makes a cringe-worthy sound against the floor and he looks at the boy, sitting down slowly.
"Looks like you're my partner," he says in a slight growl. Harry blushes from the rudeness of his voice, looking down at his paper quickly, chewing on the end of his pencil.
"I'm already finished, if you want to..." the boy suggests as his paper covers Harry's. Their eyes meet for the second time that day and a smile forms on their faces. He nods and examines the paper, his gaze not breaking from the name at the top of the paper.
