This is a book that can help you with writing, and please remember I am no professional and far far from one but I have a couple different ways of writing that I would like to share with you and things that don't work when writing... I am a beginner in writing so bare with me but I have a few different resources that can help me a lot and as I learn I wanna share with all of you! This was originally posted on AO3 on New Year's Eve 2015. fictionalcandie's notes: All blame for the conception of this fic goes to duvalu. All I did was write, uh, a few words to go with it. Everybody shout out to her for doing real actual writing for the first time in years, though!! So proud of her. ♥ duvalu's notes: "A few words" = 98% of this including all the good bits, because fictionalcandie is the best and does stuff like this for me despite not even really being in this fandom. <3 Super fun to write and I love what we ended up with. (Oh yeah and while this is fiction and not at all reality? If you're here because you googled yourself or someone you know, please do us all a favour and back away slowly.)

Scott is a hard-core believer in true love. How could he not be, considering all the successful relationships surrounding him? His parents are going on their 35th wedding anniversary, his sister is newly married, his best friend is engaged, and half of the students in his 3 PM discussion section seem to be deeply infatuated with one another. So, he hasn't found "the one" yet, but that doesn't stop him from believing that he's out there. Scott's nothing special, so there's no reason he shouldn't find love, just like everyone else. He's not worried; when it happens, it'll happen. Mitch has always believed in true love--until now. Now, he's just tired of love. He's been "in love" with three different guys in the past five years, and he's done his heart shredded and stomped on time and time again. Mitch has always been the type to fall quickly and love wholeheartedly, but he's a sensitive creature, and he's not sure he can survive another heartbreak after all he's been through. He told himself he was going to stay away from love for a long, long time, but how can he resist the baby blue eyes and bright smile of the friendly professor next door?
