Part 1

It was a cold December day like any, the rain poured and the wind screamed through the trees. In a small house not too far out lived a small family, a mother, a father and a daughter by the age of 4. The family was very poor and what money was made was either spent on the father's unhealthy alcohol problem or the mother's heroin addiction. The little girl would play with her few toys on the hardwood floor on most days, neglected from her parents the girl barely spoke. Later that night the father went into a drunken rage, screaming profanity about what was really nothing. This was normal but what happened next would be a change, he had a gun. With a small 45 pistol armed in his left hand he raised it and shot his wife, soon after realizing what he'd done he committed suicide leaving his daughter in cold blood. Luckily the neighbors heard the gunshots and discovered the grizzly scene, they then took the girl to a close by adoption center in town. No known documents were found of who the family was causing the girl to be unknown of age and name but due to her current interest of art they simple called her Painter.
