Hey my name is Adara. I am in 10th grade and I am 15 years old. I am going to tell you about my life. Starting from the beginning of 1st grade. Today I got my first friend in 1st grade but when I got home my mom started telling me that I had no real friends. She told me that everyone hates me and that I am worth nothing to be a good friend. I ran up to my room that I share with my older sister that also gets yelled at for stupid stuff like friends. I started crying and my sister held on to me tight.Tous Droits Réservés

For the first ten years of my life I always imagined myself a princess. I always saw myself being an amazing, and beautiful person. Everyone saw me as a loving girl who just wanted happiness for everyone and only wanted to see people smile. Until the eleventh grade, when my crush Rayan Lopez called me ugly. I adored that boy with everything, since 7th grade, and that was the day.... I realized I wasn't a princess after all. It's amazing how quickly someone can defeat your dream with the utterance of one word. Whoever said words don't hurt, must have never experienced this. Twenty years later, I cringe whenever I hear it and am immediately brought back to that rainy afternoon when the love for myself diminished. That's why when I opened up my mail and found an invitation to my high school reunion... I nearly passed out.

i am the girl that has no friends, that gets picked on, that hasnt talked. i am considered an emo freak or a loser. i dont really care. i am fine without friends. my mother is gone and my dad is abusive and doesnt give a shit if i was found dead. but that is normal in my life. i wont talk to anyone and hopefully they will stop talking to me.

I'm just ordinary. If anything, I'm less than everybody else. I let that get me down sometimes, I just can't help but criticize my over hanging stomach, and my flat chest, and my touching thighs, and my butt chin... Anxiety gets me bad. My older sister Olivia is what keeps me going. We're best friends. She's the most amazing person I know! She just loves everyone and sees past my flaws. I can tell her anything and everything. She'll listen. I guess I should mention she's autistic. It's not very bad. She's pretty much like everyone else. Olivia's aware that she's different, but for some reason she wants to be normal. I think she's special. And that's good. She's not like those judgmental, greedy, self righteous, perfect people. I would never want her to change. But one of those judgemental, greedy, self righteous, perfect people snuck his way into my life. He was different though... Yes, he was different.

I'm Mariana Torres, and I'm 15 years old. Not that it matters anyway. Most people wouldn't even take the time to hear my name, I guess I'm just not important. Well, that's what my mom says anyway. I wouldn't call my life the best. If you count being abused daily at home and at school the best, then maybe it is. I'm always bullied at school, even though I don't physically or mentally hurt anyone, they just love to mess with me. Some kids say I'm better off dead, and sometimes, I believe it. Restore- repair or renovate (a building, work of art, etc.) so as to return it to its original condition. I wish I could be restored, preferably from the time I moved to LA. I don't understand everything was so simple when I was in Texas. I had friends- not a lot, but the ones I did have, they were trustworthy and great to me. I just wish my dad didn't get the job, and my mom didn't die. I don't need your sympathy, and I certainly don't need your charity. I don't need anyone. I didn't think I could find anyone that would make me feel a little more alive then my non-talkative self. until I met Miss Lovato. The sad part is that she's my teacher, and she's 23 but we're getting close, and I'm developing feelings I don't want. Please Miss Lovato, restore me.

My life was not perfect, but as a kid I'd like to think it was great. I know things don't always stay the way they are since tragedy struck and now I have no one. I'm 16 and in the system, people like us don't usually get out we don't usually get looked at twice anymore, but sometimes it just happens. I'm Alexa and I don't think people like me find loving families at this age but I did. I even got a few caring friends.
