I am the last of the Paneans, left in a world that mocks my very existence, forced to hide who I am, what I am in fear of death, surrounded with the same monsters that took everything from me and left me alone in a world I have no desire to be a part of.

I was fourteen when my life began, when I found my true purpose. I was fourteen when I chose to let the darkness into my soul, when I chose hate over love, war over peace and revenge over forgiveness. I was fourteen when I watched my mate lead the forces of that killed my race.

They took everything away from me, and I long ago made a promise to do to them what they had done to me.
