It wasn't supposed to be like this. I was supposed to win the Junior Project, go to college, get married. Not be here, running in a place that is a bigger mystery to me then I am to anybody. I'm supposed to be home and happy, just a normal 17 year old.
But that's not how it is. Perhaps if I close my eyes, I'll be back home, safe and sound from the rest of this harsh world....
Amara Rhodes has done something. Or at least, everything thinks she has. The evidence is too predictable, and the guilt is too overwhelming for her to handle, and she has to escape. When she does, she's forced to face what really happened on that night, even if it means consequences.

"Are you old enough to be here?" The 18-year-old asked, and Hailey laughed. "Yeah. Of course, look can we just have two light beers?" Hailey asked looking at the desserts. "Well, I'm supposed to id, but I don't get paid enough for this." He rolls his eyes sliding the beers over. "Enjoy!" He groans cleaning off the counter and assisting the next customer. We walk over to a small booth and sit down. Hailey slides the beers over to me and I open one. I start to lift it and then set it back on the table. "Um...
