There are some who say that those with a mental disorder aren't normal. Well, they are right. Kinda. Ashlee Vanderwaal seems normal enough, except she has a secret. With four mental disorders and a fear of going to sleep, Ashlee is far from normal.
Four years ago, at the age of thirteen, Ashlee started to have nightmares. Vivid ones at that. As she got older, however, these night terrors started to converge with reality. Now seventeen, Ashlee can't tell the difference between reality and nightmares. Will these terrors ever stop?
