FREE TIME

He cleared his throat, "Since this is our first day in class, I think we all should introduce ourselves! Doesn't that sound like a great idea?!" Mr. Evans scanned the room. He stopped to look at every student, eyeing them like a hawk. " First question? Well let's see..um.." He trailed off. These first-day questions were always the hardest. "How about- What do you do in your free time? Let's start by list:" he opened the first drawer and pulled out a clip-board with a list of his students' names. First Name? Let's see- Allison Leemroy?" I froze. I shut out the noise and laughter in the room as all the student's heads turned. "Allison Leemroyyy?" He said my name loud and clear but I didn't want to respond. "It's her! That girl that's wearing an ugly orange shirt! Pizza face is back!" Lisa Barker pointed at me sticking out her tongue. I remember her name like the back of my hand. She's the popular girl in the class. She doesn't rule over Leslie Jackson though, but she's close. The whole class bursts into laughter. "Well- Can you come up here please Miss Allison?" I slip out my seat and nervously walk to the front of the room. I look at Mr. Evans with frustration and he gives me a demanding look back. "As you know- My name is Allison Leemroy. My free time is used up by art, exploring and other things so.." I walked back to my seat ashamed that I would lie so much. Everyone knows Allison Leemroy wouldn't have free-time.
