The younger girls' eyes started to water so she put her head against his chest. "You better not be kidding or else the next time I'll see you, there will be hell to pay!"

"Kill..." the low whispering voice trailed off into my head. I don't think the strange whispering voice came from anyone in the room. It was too loud; too abnormel; too deadly.
