SADNESS IN HER EYES

"Promise?" She said
"Yeah, I promise."

Those were her last words she said to me after that terrible day.
The day that broke my heart. She stole my soul and took it with her, the girl I was in love with. On that very last day, she left me with broken pieces, open scars that will never heal, I trusted her and she was gone, forever. I told her my secrets and gave her all my love. A fallen angel, I suppose. She was beyond beautiful to be with me, I knew that. But I couldn't help but to fall in love with her. There was always a dark spot in her heart and I knew that, self hatred. She hated herself, she wasn't able to function normally. She hardly told me something about her life and when she does it's when she felt like she was tearing apart and she needs someone to be with her, I was the one who couldn't help her this time. It was too late.
