A little easier said than done when your mate is a dominating, controlling Alpha male.
"You look as if you want to run." He breathed, his ragged voice washing over Murphy like a bucket of ice cold water. Her lips tightened into a thin line as she looked at him with defiance in his eyes - oh he was going to love this. "Go on, make it more fun for me little mate...run." He whispered, pointing his hand in the direction of the looming forest. Murphy was conflicted, she knew the chase would only urge him on more but she would be damned if he thought she would give into him without a fight, so without a second thought she got up and ran, praying to whatever deity that she wouldn't be caught.

Every time I tried to stop, something clenched in my stomach, instinctual and feral. It compelled me to move. Sometimes it felt like it was pulling me in the opposite direction, back the way I came.
