The origins of the Jedi and their mind tricks are elusive to my mind, so I made up a story containing all OC's to satisfy my curiosity.
--++--
Lyly is a half Davellian living on Kosho, working with her small family as a farmer. She is lost and confused as she continues to have these dream like visions of things she has never seen or experienced and tries her best to avoid, especially the ones that seem like nightmares. But there is no escaping her destiny. She will be the first Force sensitive creature to ever use the Force.

She is the Genesis.

She just doesn't know it yet.

She looks...there are no words. Her clothe-less body lays stiff on a metal slab, and her head moving back and forth. I could stare at this all day, but I can't. I know it's wrong. And, she would hate me after this. I roughly turn my head away, then I hear a groan. I snap my head to her direction. She groans again. "Oh God...my head..." She sits up, but instantly falls down. Probably a head rush. "Skye?" I call her name, softly. I don't want her to feel alone and frightened. "Who's there?" Her pearly voice commands. Ever since we've been thrown in here, my love for her grew. I can physically see my love in the air, just waiting for her to inhale it. "It's just me, Luke." She gasps and a million things come out of her mouth,"Luke!? Are you ok? Where are we? What happened? Wheres Tristan? And Mr. Parker-" "Just open your eyes, princess." Princess? Where the fuck did that come from? Oh well, I like it anyways. "Shit."she curses when her eyes are open,"Luke! What the hell is going on!?" "I don't know, Princess, but don't shout. It echos." I hold my head, trying to subside the pain tht now grows. "Mr. Parker is staring at me." I throw my fist against the metal bar I'm contained against,"Mr Parker!? He's there with you? Cover yourself, dear." "Figured that out already. Thanks for your help." I could imagine her rolling her eyes. "I'm here as a friend, not a foe. Though you do look ravishing, might I add?" Mr. Parker states. "What do you mean friend not a foe? I'm pretty sure you're the big enemy here." She tightens her hold on herself. He sighed,"Maybe so, but do you want to know where your friend is or not?" "Yes, please." She begged. "No! Skye! Don' make deals with him!" I yell. I know exactly where this is leading. I could feel her gaze burning in my direction, though I'm 99.99% sure she can't see me"What do you want, Mr Parker?" He sighed, like it was obvious. Well, it was for me,"Give me yourself, and you get your friend. Oh, and I'll let you go.

Aska, a young former citizen of Alderaan, has no idea who exactly she is, who her family is or what had happened to her. This is because she got hit on her head really hard when a terrible accident occurred in her hometown ever since she was 4 years old, so she developed a severe case of amnesia. Although luckily Aska knew her name since it said it in her necklace... at least she knew that's what her name was. Because Aska has no memory of anything so therefore she was lost, she was found by the Jedi who were currently on a mission to Alderaan for investigation and sensed how strong she was with the Force. At first Aska wasn't sure if she could trust them, but because she could sense their kindness thanks to her powers of the Force that she wasn't aware that she had, she decided that she could trust them so she began to accept their offering of joining them so she could train to become a Jedi. Now Aska on her journey to become a Jedi wonders if maybe she might get her memories back someday. But the biggest thing that Aska may face as she grows up once she's a Jedi is fear and knowing what it feels like to be a burden just as she and her Jedi friends Sol, Indara, Kelnacca and Torbin are on a mission to the planet Brendok for investigation... as well as what it feels like to be in love, which she never wanted as she knows that Jedi are forbidden to fall in love according to the Jedi code. I don't own The Acolyte, because it belongs to Lucasfilm... Bro, I wish I did!
Broken Codes by LeeraIvy

Lesia Mirri never wanted to be a Jedi. The rules of the Code didn't sit well with her restless spirit. Lesia resisted their teachings and attempted to close herself off from the Force. In a final attempt to teach her, the Jedi Council assigned her to Master Ki Adi Mundi. During the final months of the Clone Wars, Lesia found herself growing close to her master and she became more open to what he had to say. When the Purge disrupted life as she had known it, Lesia was thrown headfirst into a lawless galaxy. Armed only with the little knowledge she'd bothered to learn, Lesia struggles to make a way for herself. Once, she had shunned the Jedi. Now, the galaxy needs them, needs her, more than ever. The way of the Mandalore is not an easy path to follow, but it is all Nakoa Sen has ever known. As a child, he found himself being raised by a Mandalorian covert, one of the first who called themselves Children of the Watch. Nakoa later chose to venture into the galaxy as a bounty hunter, to provide for his new Clan. He stumbles across Lesia Mirri and eventually recruits her help for a mission. He quickly learns that while he devoutly follows his code, there are others who abhor rules of any kind. Nakoa soon finds himself wondering if he truly knows what path he wants to follow, and if he can actually break the code that his people hold so dear. Warning This book, while being a work of fiction, still contains real elements and deals with the subject of war. There may be chapters that deal with death, suicide, slight gore, etc. (Canon characters as well as planets within the Star Wars universe are not created by me. I only take credit for my original characters and this story.) ***A WATTPAD FEATURED STORY Sept 6th 2016*** "Yoda was not a master of the Light Side-or the Dark. He was between them." Luke Skywalker hears this from a mysterious Jedi prisoner during her interrogation and frees her to investigate what she means. Undercover for her own gain, she killed her Sith master to aid the Rebellion, but was arrested for intentionally killing a boy while she wore a warm sane smile... Luke---tormented with questions---resists the unresolved darkness within him from his father's death, and fights to learn the forgotten secrets of the Force: How did the Force originate and why? What doesn't Yoda trust me to know? Is her forgotten Light Side just as depraved and powerful as the Dark Side? Why was the practice of it forbidden and forgotten? Does her fearless play in battle come from a robust will or is she truly insane? Am I really a Jedi? ======================= Star Wars: The Ancient Force presents as a 280-page novel that aims to elaborate on how the Force works while providing a compelling new arc for Luke after Return of the Jedi. Dark yet fun and PG-13, it aims to keep within the Star Wars style. It uses only canon of films 1-6 to reinterpret and explain the Force, events, and character motivations while it introduces new complex characters, fixes loopholes, and provides depth to canon clichés. It is the first published work of a writer with over 13 years of experience in developing fiction.

It's the future, and a war has knocked out half of the human race. The jungle has taken over most of the land, and people live in tribes or groups deep within the forest. Every group has a population of at least 300, and all of the tribes are against each other. Naikee lives in a group called the Sowadan group, and they live in the south region of the world. Each group is forbidden to go past the gates that hide their villages. Naikee is sick and tired of living within the walls of her villages, and she's always wondered what it would be like to go past them. On the morning of her Celebration of Life (basically a birthday), she finds a whole in the wall and runs past the gates and into the wild. After days of traveling she accidentally runs into a group called the Kaiboo, which are one of the most dangerous groups in the world. They are known for their cannibalism, though no one has ever dared to enter their gates. Before anyone can capture her, a boy named Mika runs into her and takes her to a secret underground storage. He only goes to her and talks to give her the meals at morning, afternoon, and night. After several days of this same thing, Naikee finally confronts him and makes him tell her whats going on. They get to talking, and he comes back to check on her more often now. As she develops a crush and they fall in love, they don't realize but they might be changing the course of history. Note: I'm sorry about the spacing, I'm not exactly sure how to do this because it's my first story. Someone can comment to me how to space if they're bothered by it, but just know each new section in a chapter is meant to be a new paragraph. Thank you so much fo reading!!! @allie!!!!!
